2017 Executive Forum

Mayors, Chief Executives, and City Managers! We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming Executive Forum in Helena, which will be March 1-3.

The Forum will be March 1-3 at the Holiday Inn in Helena, on Wednesday, we will give a tour of the State Capitol, we will meet at the capitol rotunda at 1:45, and will start the tour at 2:00. If you would like the opportunity to meet with your representatives during this time, you must contact your area representative ahead of time to pre-schedule a visit. We will meet in the Rotunda at the Capitol at 1:00 PM for the tour. We recommend looking into the Capitol Area Park and Ride system, which has a regular bus route during the Legislative Session.

We will start Thursday morning with a Legislative Update, move on to a Mayor to Mayor and Manager to Manager facilitated discussions, a talk on budgets, and planning for Key staff departures. After lunch, you will be treated to a talk on interactive ADA, Cyber Liability, planning 101, and safety task specific training requirements.

On Thursday evening, the National League of Cities and Town would like to invite you to a social hour following the day’s sessions. The National League of Cities is a resource and advocate for the nation’s cities and their leaders. NLC is dedicated to helping city leaders build better communities. Working in partnership with the 49 state municipal leagues, NLC serves as a resource to and an advocate for the more than 19,000 cities, villages, and towns it represents.
